At the risk of getting another email from Jerid telling me how disappointed he is that I’ve written something here that he takes issue with?
I enjoy reading your blog and your point of view.
Despite being more politically inline with Jerid’s Party, I have been disgusted by him personally. He does not represent the types of Democrats that I associate with and support.
I believe Brian’s analysis of Jerid’s writings has been fair game for the blogosphere. I’ve seen a hell of a lot more harsh statements made about Jerid (including my own)
With that in mind, I too (similar to Lisa Renee) “enjoy reading your blog” even if you are a little bit to the right of me philosophically.
I believe your criticism of Jerid has been spot-on and I look forward to your analysis of other blog bashing so-called “friends” of Jerid like Eric Vessels (who actually deserves more criticism than Jerid given the fact that Eric bullied Matt Naugle at Blogapalooza).
I don’t have to agree with Matt Naugle politically to understand that what Vessels and Jerid did to Matt at Blogapalooza was fundamentally wrong. George Nemeth of Brewed Fresh Daily Blog touted Blogapalooza as being non-partisan. But, it is sort of hard to believe when blog bullies like Jerid and Vessels roam around stalking Republicans who decided to attend the event.
http://www.rightangleblog.com/2007/07/29/bloggapalooza-blogga-drama/
Screw Jerid Kurtz and Eric Vessels. They both are idiot hack bully thugs. I’ve never met Kurtz in-person (that I know of). But Vessels has tried to bully up into my space on more than one occasion. When I asked him if he was going to challenge me to a “boxing match” he said he didn’t need to and then he ran off to gossip about me with the girls of the League of Young Voters.
Now Vessels is going around telling everyone he went to West Point. I say whoop-tee-doo Mr. Vessels. Try again. You haven’t impressed me or scared me yet except Vessels is a half way decent big bellydancer and he’s good at chanting “OM” when he meditates and eats vegan.
Thanks, guys.
Lisa: Wow, personal emails of disappointment? Gotta keep toeing the line I guess.
