Frankie Coleman pleads “no contest”

From NBC4i:

Frankie Coleman pleaded no contest to charges in an investigation surrounding timesheets during her career with the Ohio Department of Development.

Coleman was charged with falsification and attempted theft in office on Monday, NBC 4 reported.

She was sentenced to five years probation, a $500 fine on both charges, and 100 hours of community service.

I think that’s fair.

More from the Dispatch blog:

Franklin County Municipal Court Judge Harlan H. Hale found her guilty of both charges and also also sentenced Coleman, wife of Mayor Michael B. Coleman, to 100 hours of community service. A 360-day jail sentence was suspended on condition she complete her probation, which includes finishing the alcohol treatment program in which she is currently enrolled.
